DARREN BANCROFT

Born in Leicester, January 1973

As a teenager Darren was a member of the Leicestershire Youth Theatre and caught the acting bug in 1988 when he performed at the Edinburgh Festival in a production of the 'Threepenny Opera'. The following year he performed there again and after several more youth theatre productions and encouragement from his drama teacher decided to pursue a career in acting.

In 1991 he was offered a place at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama graduating in the summer of 1994.

The same year he made his professional acting debut in the BBC courtroom drama 'Crown Prosecutor'

Since then Darren has made numerous appearances on TV in shows such as The Bill, Casualty, Doctors & Heartbeat, has featured in Films, performed on Stage, appeared in commercials and voiced a number of projects.
